Alice Couriel trained at JMW Solicitors LLP under James and Sam, qualifying into the Family team in September 2015. Alice has worked on a variety of family law disputes, including complex high value financial settlements, cases with an international element and variation proceedings. Since joining Hall Brown shortly after it opened in April 2016, Alice has assisted on a number of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, which she has identified as an area/specialism of interest.
Alice also has a breadth of experience in private children law proceedings and has been heavily involved in court hearings at every level, including internal relocation and complex leave to remove cases.
Alice has written a number of articles including for the North West Law Messenger and Family Law Journal. Alice is a member of Resolution and sits as the Education Representative on the Manchester YoungRes Committee, organising various YRes seminars and encouraging students to become part of the organisation.
Having been trained by and worked with Catherine Jones, Beth Wilkins, James Brown and Sam Hall for a number of years, Alice has refined her legal expertise since qualification and provides a professional, high-quality and cost-effective service.
